Big Idea – Jesus is the powerful son of God
Luke 13 v10-17
Lesson Background
The healing of the crippled woman is one of many miracles of Jesus performed on the Sabbath. The teachers of the law are indignant that Jesus healed the woman on the Sabbath. He calls them hypocrites as they untie their donkeys and lead them to water on the Sabbath, but Jesus can’t heal a woman bound by Satan for 18yrs.
Outcomes
Belief – Children will understand that Jesus healed the crippled woman.
