The Joy in Repentance

Passage : 2 Corinthians 7:2-16

How should Christians think about sorrow and regret?
Are these just negative attitudes that are best left behind us as we make new year’s resolutions?
Or is there value in being sorry?

The Apostle Paul, writing to the Christians in Corinth, explains where regret and sorrow can lead for Christian people. There is a type of sorrow that leads only to death, and a sorrow that leads to repentance and joy – not just for the person concerned, but for other Christians too!
