Abuse & Servant-Hearted Leadership
At Dundonald Church, we deliberately seek to promote and maintain patterns of leadership that are godly, other-person serving, and Christ honouring, and to hear and respond appropriately to any concerns raised about the conduct of our leaders.
As followers of Christ we are appalled and distressed at abusive behaviour within churches which causes terrible suffering to victims and terrible damage to the reputation of Christ’s church.
Our statements addressing these issues:
// Richard Coekin’s paper on Servant-Hearted Leadership
// Co-Mission’s Statement on Spiritual Coercion and Pastoral Malpractice
// Richard Coekin’s statement at Dundonald Church on 28th March 2021
