Big Idea – God is good and provided manna and water to look after his people
Exodus 16-17
Outcomes
- Know that God is good and gives people physical food for physical life and spiritual & eternal food for spiritual & eternal life.
Implications
- Belief – Jesus is good so we can trust Him to give us spiritual and eternal life because he is the Bread of Life and gives us Living Water.
- Behaviour – Don’t grumble to God when things are hard… instead ask Jesus to give us what we need (which isn’t always what we want)

Exodus 6:6-7
Therefore, say to the Israelites: “I am the Lord, and I will bring you out from under the yoke of the Egyptians. I will free you from being slaves to them, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with mighty acts of judgment.
I will take you as my own people, and I will be your God. Then you will know that I am the Lord your God, who brought you out from under the yoke of the Egyptians.
