Holiday at Home is an annual event run at the end of July and aims to give our senior citizens a bit of a holiday! This year’s event will run over four days from Tuesday 25th – Friday 28th July with an end of event lunch on Sunday 30th July. The theme this year is a tour of the British Isles and will feature a different country each day: Scotland on the Tuesday, Ireland (Republic and Northern) on Wednesday, then Wales and finishing with England on Friday.
Each day will have a fun, packed programme of activities for senior citizens of all abilities – including games, quizzes, crafts, singing, dancing and a variety of talks – with time for coffee, tea and a cooked lunch. We’ll have a short Bible talk each day and time to discuss what you’ve heard if you’d like to know more. There will be a range of things to do so you can get involved in as much or as little as you’d like! If you’d like to sit and rest a bit or read the newspaper, that’s fine!
Each day runs from 10.30 am – 3.30 pm but you are free to join us when you can and leave when you need to. And you are free to come every day or just for one or two days – it is up to you!
There is no charge but you are free to make a donation for lunch.
We do hope you will join us!
If you’d like to come, Dundonald Church can be found here. If you need transport, please contact the church office: info@dundonald.org or call 020 8543 4411.
