What to expect?
This is an unmissable evening for everyone who would call Dundonald their church. We’ll be looking forward to the year ahead as we share plans and pray to our Father God for his provision for all that we need.
Good food & good company are guaranteed! The evenings are for the whole church family; regulars, old timers & newcomers.
The two evenings are exactly the same so you only need to come to one (but perhaps you might consider helping at the other).
Are you able to help?
We need volunteers each evening to ensure the events run smoothly. Everyone on the team will get to hear Richard’s talk and you won’t miss out on fellowship – there’s always a great buzz behind the scenes. We’ll make time to share dinner together. If you’re able to join the team, simply select the ‘helper’ ticket when you sign up.
We look forward to seeing you there!
Who is this for?
The evenings are for anyone and everyone! Regulars, old-timers & newcomers. At each evening, there’ll be people from each of our congregations, so you’re guaranteed a familiar face.
Why should I come?
The whole church will be getting together to hear from Richard Coekin, Senior Pastor, about an essential focus for our church for the year ahead. There will be good food and good company.
Why are there two evenings?
The evenings will be exactly the same, so you only need to come to one. We’re doing it twice both to fit everyone in and to make it easier for everyone to come (see below re: childcare).
Should I come with my Small Group?
You don’t have to, but you might like to. Have a chat with them and see if you can come up with a plan. What about childcare for the evening? By having two evenings we’re hoping that everyone can make it. Perhaps you could offer to babysit for a friend, organise a childcare swap in your group, come to one evening and your spouse to the other, or organise a big sleepover?
Isn’t there a chance I won’t know anyone?
That’s highly unlikely. At each evening, there’ll be people from each of our congregations present – and the welcome will be as warm as ever.
What will I wear?
That’s up to you, it’s a relaxed evening with church family!
Do you need help?
Yes please! We need around 25 volunteers each evening to ensure the events run smoothly. Everyone on the team will get to hear Richard’s talk and you won’t miss out on fellowship – there’s always a great buzz behind the scenes. We’ll get some pizzas delivered and make time to share dinner together.
What if cash is a bit tight?
We’d hate for you to miss out, please contact the office to sort out a concession.
