We’re convinced that every believer has God given gifts to contribute to his work of growing disciples of Jesus Christ. We’d love to help you to explore how you might serve with the gifts that you’ve been given.

You’ll find people serving in all sorts of ways at Dundonald here’s a flavour of how you might get involved.

Hospitality, Welcome or Care

e.g. Welcoming on Sunday, hosting meals, serving tea/coffee, the Dundonald care team, Biblical counselling, crèche.

Teaching

e.g. Leading or co-leading a Bible study small group, reading the Bible with someone 1-2-1, teaching young people (11-18), teaching children (1-10)?

Practical Service

e.g. Offering lifts, stewarding, cleaning, building maintenance, catering for events, helping on the bookstall.

Evangelism

e.g. Courses (CE), events, elderly team, street evangelism, evangelistic 1-2-1, workplace, internationals, families (Bunnies, Junior Jivers, Heroes academy)

Praying

e.g. A prayer partnership, leading prayer on Sunday, praying with people after a Sunday service, receiving a prayer letter from missionaries.

The Wider Community

e.g. Options Pregnancy Resource Centre, visiting residential care homes, helping internationals learn English, co-ordinating mercy appeals (food bank, shoe box appeal).

Administration

e.g. Putting together rotas, databases, photocopying, finance, running events, cutting out craft materials, noticeboards, newsletters.

Design or Technology

e.g. Photography, video, website, blog, social media development, PowerPoint design, sound desk operation, graphic design, running PowerPoint, designing props or costumes, aesthetics of the church.

Performing Arts

e.g. Playing or singing, reading the Bible on Sunday, leading children’s singing, helping with dramas.
