As a result of the amazing news that our loving heavenly Father has graciously enabled our church to raise an additional £1.5m for the BftF project, we are able to proceed with the next steps towards making it all actually happen. While we have already received planning permission from Merton Council, that did not include most internal details.

Among other things, this now gives us an exciting opportunity for creating an internal design brief which we can discuss with the architect.

In order to give everyone an opportunity to comment, we will be holding consultation events on Wednesday 7th and Sunday 11th March on the internal uses and potential ministries of the new church.

Everyone is invited therefore to view the consented plans and comment on how best we can use the space for gospel ministry. The BftF team will be on hand to answer any questions but the primary objective is to hear what you have to say.

Following the consultation, all comments will be reviewed and evaluated by the BftF team and will help shape the design brief given to the architect partner.

The consultations will take place before the prayer meeting on Wednesday 7th March and displays will be available after all Sunday 11th services. A kids’ consultation is being organised for that Sunday as well to ensure all voices in the church are being heard for this Building for the Future.

Please do come along and give your comments. Please see the information newsletter here:

We hope to see you at the consultation event. In the meantime, if you have any questions, please contact the BftF team on building@dundonald.org.
