Small groups are essential to our church life.

Because we want to love one another we put a high emphasis on membership of small groups.  We have a programme of midweek groups tailored to meet each other’s needs at all stages of faith.
We get to know God and each other better as we meet together to engage with the Bible, pray and chat.   Year after year people say how much they have grown in the knowledge of God through these regular weekly groups.
If you would like to join a group, or for more information please use this email form to contact the church office.

Please see below for a description of our various small groups;

Homegroups

Housegroups

Small groups are extremely important to us at Dundonald. They have been a key part of the life and health of the church over the years, strengthening our community life.
Home groups meet weekly in someone’s home during the evening. There are 2 main aims of these groups: Bible study and Fellowship.
Together we can look at God’s word in depth, benefit from each other’s insights, and discuss personal application.
We also share our lives, and care for one another - home groups are the first line in pastoral care in the church. Here many needs may be discovered and met, as well as more serious needs being brought to the attention of the church personal care co-ordinators and staff.
Groups are of roughly 10-12 people, all drawn from the same congregation, and roughly the same geographical area, to encourage relationship building.

If you would like to join a group, or for more information please contact use this email form to contact the church office.

Knowing God (twenties and thirties)

Knowing GodKnowing God groups are the midweek groups for the 20s and 30s at Dundonald.  There are 3 elements.

Knowing God - we do not just learn about God as we study the Bible and pray together, we get to know Him.
Enjoying God’s people - being regular, committed members of a small group means we can look after each other properly.  It gives us a measure of stability and community.
Learning God’s ways - following Jesus involves all of life.  Membership of a small group enables us to learn from the lives of more mature Christians what following God looks like in practice, and we in turn can help those who are younger in the faith.

KG groups meet on Tuesdays or Wednesdays. Groups are 10-12 people.

If you would like to join a group, or for more information please contact the church office.

Women’s Groups

There are ten women’s bible study groups that meet during the week. The daytime groups provide an opportunity for women who are around during the day to study the bible together in homes, where we can support one another spiritually and practically. Childcare is provided in each group.

They currently meet on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Friday mornings whilst one group meets on a Friday afternoon fortnightly- primarily for women who work full time.

If you would like to join a group, or for more information please contact the church office.

Korean Groups

Bible Study groups for Korean speakers meet on Thursday evenings. We find that the groups are a great way to meet fellow Koreans and enjoy fellowship with them. We do this whilst getting to know God better through reading the Bible in Korean before we then pray and enjoy fellowship together. Bible study groups are a great way to get to know each other better and to encourage each other in our lives as we look to glorify Jesus more.

If you would like to join a group, or for more information please contact the church office.

Afrikaans Groups

Afrikaans Bible StudyKnowing God groups for Afrikaans speakers meet on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The groups consist of 10-12 members.
We find that the groups are a great way to meet fellow Afrikaans-speakers and enjoy developing community with them. We do this whilst getting to know God better through reading the Bible, which takes place in the Afrikaans text. We then pray and enjoy fellowship together. We encourage social activities such as Saturday morning touch rugby.

If you would like to join a group, or for more information please contact the church office.
